Our client is looking for an IT Solution Owner for their billing systems to partner with Business sections and help them build and deliver the solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role initially focused on building and maintaining their billing system. You will lead design conversation and implementation approach partnered with business representatives and other solution owners in IT and will deliver continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
1.Partner with the product owners and build the services with IT vendors that are customer-centric and differentiate them from their competitors.
2. Own and maintain the technical excellence of their billing services and ensure all the underlying technologies are kept up-to-date.
3. Control the billing service/maintenance activities of the system.
4. Lead the technology design and implementation of underlying applications for billing that are secure and scalable while offering superior user experience (UX) and performance.
5. Deliver continuous improvements in partnership with their Business Unit and other Solution Owners.
6. Lead, manage and mentor a group of developers (internal and external).
7. Provide innovative ideas and solutions to problems.

Skills Required:
1.Experience in delivering strategic business-enabling applications, eventually managing a portfolio of applications.
2.Experience in managing or participating in large projects collaborating with regional/global teams and multiple stakeholders.
3.Strong grasp of information security standards, principles and how they apply to business applications.
4.Program or project management experience with excellent issues and risk management skills.
5.Operational experience with IT providers, Software editor, and packages (define, manage, and govern delivery KPIs).
6.Experience driving project and process improvements via commercial software packages.
7.Strong working knowledge of the following technologies – Java, Oracle, Web technologies, and Linux.
8. Having deep billing system knowledge is a plus
9. Understanding of ITIL ver.3.0 preferred.
